Alfredo Garcia

Alfredo Garcia is an accredited Clinical Psychotherapist and Clinical Hypnotherapist, with qualifications from the Australian Institute of Applied Psychology and nationally recognised within the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF)

​

He is also a Master Practitioner and Trainer in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), a field that combines neuroscience and linguistics to study how language, communication, and meaning are processed by the brain and how they influence thought and behaviour. Accredited by the NLP Australian association/Asia Pacific Inc (NLPAA)

He holds an international doctorate-level qualification in Quantum Counselling, adding further value to his practice. He has practiced therapy for many years, and helping people remains his greatest commitment.

Dr. Alfredo is also a founding member of the Australian and International Psychotherapist Association (ISPA). In addition, he is  registered with the Australian Association (HCA), which is the hypnotherapy council for therapists.

Professional Clinical Member of the Australian Association of Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy (A.A.C.H.P).

He is a certified practitioner in Time-Based Therapy and Emotional Intelligence, both awarded by the Australian Institute of Applied Psychology. His compassionate, client-centered approach helps individuals restore inner harmony, resilience, and a sense of empowerment.

He is a certified practitioner in Virtual Gastric Band, EMDR, CBT,  psychoanalysis and counselling.

Registered Master Ericksonian Hypnotherapist with the Australian (NLPAA) Association.

He gained certificates in:

​Biology and Behavioral  Psychology.

Psychology in Mental Health and Illness.

Psychology in Mental Health Studies, suicide, violent behavior, and substance abuse.

As a clinical therapist he applies psychological strategies, a perfect combination of Psychotherapy, Psychoanalysis, Quantum counselling, and Clinical Hypnotherapy as an eclectic approach to provide an optimal way to achieve the patient's goals.

Alfredo speaks Spanish and English. He completed his studies in interpreting and translation (Spanish–English) at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT).

He is accredited by NAATI National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters, which is  recognized by the Australian Government, courts and other institutions.

                                                                    

As a student member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), he is currently undertaking further studies in grief counselling.
